Our commitment
Journey to Solutions is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. People reach us at difficult moments in their lives, and the website should never be another obstacle. We are working to meet recognised accessibility standards and to improve the site over time.
Conformance status
We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines are the international standard for making web content accessible.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. The known exceptions are listed below.
What we have done
- Text and background colours are tested to meet minimum contrast ratios
- The site can be navigated using a keyboard alone, without a mouse
- Headings, lists and landmarks are structured so screen readers can move through pages logically
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text
- Forms have clear labels, and errors are described in text rather than by colour alone
- Pages are readable and usable at 200% zoom and on small screens
- Moving content can be paused
- Video and audio content is captioned or transcribed where available
Known limitations
We want to be honest about where the site currently falls short:
- Some video content does not yet have captions. We are adding captions to our video library and prioritising the most-viewed content first.
- Some podcast episodes do not yet have written transcripts. We are producing transcripts and adding them as they are completed.
- Older documents and downloads published before this website launched may not meet current accessibility standards. If you need an accessible version of any document, contact us and we will provide one.
- Embedded content from third parties — including video players and social media content — is outside our direct control. We have chosen providers with accessibility features where possible, but we cannot guarantee their conformance.
